At April’s lunch we heard from Michelle Jarrold who provided a fascinating history of Jarrold from it’s origins as a grocers in Woodbridge in 1770 to a leading independent retailer and one of the longest established family businesses in Norfolk today.  Members and guests learned about the different businesses (printing, publishing and retail) and how they have diversified and responded to demand and the economic climate over the last 200 years.
