In May we heard from Jason Middleton, Programmes Manager at New Anglia LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) who is responsible for the design and development of the LEP’s business support programmes to help drive growth and jobs across Suffolk and Norfolk.
One of the schemes he spoke in detail about was the Growing Business Fund, which provides grants of up to £500,000 to SME. The Fund is made up of two programmes which includes a Small Grant Scheme, for grants between £5,000 and £25,000, and a larger scheme for grants between £25,000 and £500,000.
He also highlighted the New Anglia Growth Hub, which offers free face to face advice to businesses across both counties. You can find out more here on the NALEP website.
Anna Douglas of Norfolk Community Foundation (and NBWN committee member!) also shared news of ‘Norwich 4 new Enterprise’ – a scheme for businesses who have been operating for at least 12 months – which is offering grants of up to £5,000 to businesses and social enterprises based in Norwich, Broadland and South Norfolk.
