In May, Maggie Semple OBE visited Norwich to share with us her career as a successful business woman and entrepreneur.

Maggie is a successful business woman and entrepreneur. In 2010 she set-up Semple, a bespoke women’s fashion brand; a labour of love established to empower likeminded women through made to measure fashion, networking events, a daily blog and magazine.

She also owns a management consultancy firm that works with global businesses on leadership development. Maggie is a Non-Executive Director of the Criminal Cases Review Commission where she chairs the Audit & Risk Committee and is a Member of the Queen’s Counsel Selection Panel. She is a Fellow of the City & Guilds Institute, one of 500 Fellowships awarded since 1878 and an Associate Member of the Senior Common Room of Exeter College, Oxford University. Maggie is cited in the World’s Who’s Who and was awarded an OBE in 2001.
