This month we joined forces with the Women’s Institute!

Laura Wigby and Stacey Armes gave us a great introduction into their Golden Triangle Girls WI; a vibrant, modern group based in Norwich, which has now been running for 7 years.

Laura and Stacey shared with us how they make the most of their meetings to focus on meeting new people and building friendships while developing a lot of new skills which can also be used in the workplace.

Their meetings are just as diverse as their members, with a mixture of crafts, talks, skill-sharing and more! Some examples of their recent meetings include astronomy, Bollywood dancing, food demonstrations, risqué storytelling and photography.

The WI’s ethos is all about bringing women together for friendship and support, as well as sharing skills and knowledge.

As a Charity they are also very motivated and successful fundraisers.

Although the Golden Triangle Girls group is full with a waiting list, there are other groups around the city with spaces available to get involved!

We were also joined by Imagine Spa of Blofield Heath and Adnams of Unthank Road showcasing their Christmas Ideas.
